Premiile Oscar vor fi decernate in aceasta seara.
A 88-a editie a Galei Premiilor Oscar va avea loc, ca de obicei, la Dolby Theatre din Los Angeles si va fi transmisa in peste 220 de tari din intreaga lume.
Marcat de polemica referitoare la absenta, pentru al doilea an consecutiv, a persoanelor de culoare de pe lista de nominlizari, evenimentul il va avea ca gazda pe actorul Christopher Julius Rock III, cunoscut sub numele de Chris Rock.
Lista vedetelor cinematografice care vor inmana distinctiile cuprinde, ca in fiecare an, actori, regizori, muzicieni, printre care unii detinatori ai statuetelor de aur, iar altii nominalizati anul acesta.
Prin ei se numara Cate Blanchett, Emily Blunt, Russell Crowe, Leonardo Dicaprio, Morgan Freeman, Whoopi Goldberg si Lady Gaga.
Filmul ”The Revenant” pleaca din postura de mare favorit, cu 12 nominalizări, inclusiv la ”Cel mai bun film”, ”Cel mai bun regizor” si ”Cel mai bun actor in rol principal”.
Pe locurile urmatoare figurează peliculele ”Mad Max:”, care a obtinut 10 nominalizari, ”The Hateful Eight” – cu 8, ”The Martian” cu 7 nominalizari, ”Spotlight”,”Bridge of Spies” şi ”Carol” – câte 6, iar ”The Big Short” şi ”Star Wars: The Force Awakens” – câte 5.
Intregul eveniment este insotit de masuri de securitate speciale sporite in contextul recentelor atacuri din California.
